What are strength-training benefits; will I get bulky?
|
No! It’s a myth that women who lift weights get bulky (barring female body builders of course!). Strength training actually burns more calories more efficiently than cardio alone, so women who strength train will lose weight and inches faster. |

If I workout, how much weight will I lose?

Is drinking water really that important?

Why should every woman no matter her age incorporate resistance (weight)training in her program? |
Research has shown that beginning as early as her mid-thirties, women loseapproximately 1/3 pound of muscle every year which is subsequently replacedwith fat. In the ten year period between the ages 40-50, the typical woman willlose 3-5 pounds of muscle and gain 13-15 pounds of fat. The key role thatstrength training can play in reversing this undesirable development can not be underestimated.
Resistance exercise can help restore muscle to a woman's body thereby:
- reducing body fat and increasing her metabolism (burn more calories even at rest!)
- increasing energy levels
- increasing bone density, decreasing the risks associated with osteoporosis
- improving sleep patterns
- for many, bolstering self confidence and self esteem

How Does Vibration Exercising Work? |
In as little as 10 minutes a day, three times a week, The TZone Vibration will let you achieve a new level of health, fitness & well-being. Vibration Exercise machines produce vibrations from the feet up, thus distributing vibrational energy to the entire body. These vibrations result in rapid and intense muscle fiber contractions 30-50 times per second.
The original intended benefit of Whole Body Vibration Therapy was increased bone density and muscle strength, but it turned out that the first advantage many users noticed was a dramatic increase in flexibility and range of motion. The quick contractions of muscle fiber not only created flexibility, but also burned fat, increased metabolism, improved circulation, improved cellular oxygen and nutrient delivery which slows the degenerative/aging process.
Further research done over the past few decades has shown that WHOLE BODY VIBRATION Therapy has many other benefits such as:
- Improved muscle strength and performance, Increased flexibility and range of motion
- Enhanced critical blood flow throughout the body increased bone density
- Increase of the happiness hormone serotonin and neurotrophine
- Decreased cortisol levels
- Rehabilitate injuries and ailments
